I just wanna know if there's ways to naturally produce dopamine so it can be easier for me during the reboot, and so I won't risk me relapsing.
Diet and exercise are THE best ways period. Cardio in particular gets dopamine and other feel-good neurotransmitters flowing in very high amounts; and changes your brain structure over time to that of a happier person. There's too much controversy on diet nowadays but I'll tell you something that everyone can agree on; drink more water. Drink a gallon of water a day MINIMUM. If you wanna hear my opinions on diet overall as someone going to school to become a Registered Dietitian you can message me; I'd be glad to help! edit: meditation can be just as powerful as exercise if done correctly and consistently. Most people aren't willing to do that though. That's something I struggle with keeping in practice.
The exercising part I can agree on, because when I do high intensity cardio, my body feels really good afterwards. Dieting does sound like a good idea, and the water too. And I'll PM you if I have any further questions?
