    Hey folks,

i read an article about 22% higher risk to get prostate cancer if you don't ejaculate enough. Apparently the semen needs to rush constantly through the prostate so it keeps healthy. Now i am in fear to continue with my NoFap programm. What do you say about this research? Do you still recommend to keep going with NoFap? I mean, porn addiction surely has some medical downsides and health risks on its own. So the healthier life through NoFap will surely prevail the prostate cancer? But it still is cancer :/

    Forget that article.
We used our sex too much before. Now let's give it a holiday.
And many people have proved that this will be a great achievement, even in China.
Of course, there will be twists and turns in the process. I've been experiencing a serious truncation these days.
    Bless you

Well, I haven't seen anything that says you can't have all the sex you want with a consenting partner in a healthy way once you're done with your reboot(s). The reboot process is temporary. The goal is of course to eliminate your desire for P, because P is an artificial stimulant for dopamine in your brain, specifically designed to make it release as much dopamine in as short a time as possible by giving your brain specific inputs that would normally take a significant build up time to work to. A comparison could be made with the dopamine release from running a few miles, the "runner's high" versus the dopamine release from doing various narcotics or stimulants. The drugs make the brain release a bunch of dopamine instantly, while the running takes time and effort to release the dopamine, and it comes as a sort of reward for what you've just done.

So, the reboot cycle will hopefully end your desire to watch P, and M is your own personal choice, but as far as O goes, if you have a wife or girlfriend or boyfriend or husband or partner, or whatever else I didn't list, and your O comes from a healthy activity in a relationship with that person, that's the way we were made to be. That's why our brains release dopamine for that activity, because we're supposed to like having sex, cultural and religious rules notwithstanding.

Personally, I intend to use this reboot, and any others that are necessary to break my addiction to P, and more or less curb M entirely. My goal is for the O's that come from real sex to be meaningful and for my body to function more like the way it did in the past before I had racked up so many hours of P and M.
