I've been trying to give up porn for the past 2 months and... i couldn't do it. i last about 2 weeks bt at the end of it. i spend a hold day watching porn playing mine craft ( i don't play it anymore it's a waste of time) and edged once to often and boom.
i'm trying to improve myself as much as i can. ight now i have given up smoking ( easy i didn't really smoke at all), Weed ( i had a bad reaction once and i started to trip, never touching it again) Alcohol ( fairly easy though if someone buys me a drink, i still drink it, which doesn't happen often) and gambling ( I used to be a poker junkie, this one is the harder of of the list, i dropped out of school because of it one time)

but porn... porn is like crank! I can just glance at an image now and it's fap time. I don't know how to give this up. it's fooking up my life in more ways then one. not to mention it's rotting my brain but it's SUCH a waste of time. i mean some times i can spend 6 hours doing this crap.

i need some support. i feel like i can't give it up. i have so many triggers now i can't get rid of them all. how do i stop? i know it takes like 4 months to kick this complete it just seams so far out of reach!

    what do i do?

Find something else to take up your time. My distraction is working on translating a 15th century manuscript for a "client" as well as catching up on TV Shows I otherwise never would have caught up on due to my insistence on acquiring all the awesomest porn I could get my hands on; Like you, spending untold hours collecting, sorting, and fapping to porn.

Think of it this way: Monks remain celibate and (generally) avoid temptation by burying their heads in their bibles and studies. You need to find something that will take place of porn. I don't know... become a connoisseur of the White Russian... write a book on it, blog about it, teach people how to make one, etc.

I would like to add something to the good advice from the sword fighter.

Do something that makes your heartbeat increase. That can be working out, singing, approaching girls, something that keeps you out of your comfort. You can help other people, do volunteering, find out what your passions are. Make more money.

Of course you can also combine this activities with relaxing activities. It's going to be a tough battle. We will make it. I know we can.
