Hi I'm New....

    Hi I'm new and so glad I have found this forum.

    I am very ashamed that I use porn. I don't use hardcore porn, but I few images of naked women and soft sex scenes. I hate it!!!

    I am female, but I am not a lesbian. I was brought up in a family where my father is addicted to porn and my brother is too. I was exposed from early childhood ans we all carried on, turning a blind eye, despite knowing what was happening and me having to see things such as my father masterbating over anything and everything. He viewed me like an object too. I don't wnat to turn into him.

    It has severely impacted on my life and ability to have relationships.

    I few images most days and masterbate to orgasm. My orgams are quick and really not that great.

    I work with people who have been abused and see how pornography can cause problems.

    I am finding that I am objectifying the women I know and even myself, I don't want this. I want to stop using porn and get my life back on track. I am shocked by how much of my life I am wasting looking at this crap online, I don't like it and I am so ashamed,especially as a women who sees as it as exploitation.

    Any help and support appreciated.

    Welcome nicegirl,

    You are on the right place. You'll find that everyone here hasn't escaped untouched by this addiction.I would suggest that you deal with your feelings of guilt and shame because they are holding you back.I couldn't be rid of them until I stopped PMO.But that it took me 10 years.Please find a way to forgive yourself.After so much pain and discomfort you deserve it .We all are worthy of love.You deserve to love yourself. Until you accept that, you cant move forward. Don't let years pass to do that.
