So I have been doing nofap seriously for about 5 months. Over the summer I had a streak of 84 days and it felt amazing! Prior to this streak I was probably PMOing everyday for the last 5 years (only on occasion prior to that). I think a big reason for this longer streak was deleting social media and dating apps off of my phone and working out almost everyday. For about the last two months I have been trying to break this record but have fallen short a couple of times. I usually last anywhere from one to three weeks. Within the last month I have only PMO twice, which I realize is great progress from where I was this time last year.

Does anyone have good advice on how to get to "the next level"? Even though I realize my frequency has significantly decreased and benefits aren't completely diminishing after an occasional slip up, I want to reach 90+ days. What are some methods people use to turn down temptations? Are there hobbies and practices that I can implement? I feel like my big issue right now (especially during covid) is staying busy and not being bored. Any help is much appreciated!

    1. Get a hobby that occupies hands and mind: model building, carpentry, scrapbooking whatever. Keeping both busy keeps em off your dick.
    2. Keep working out. Set some goals and work to hit them. Those kind of rewards are better than porn.
    3. Get plenty of sleep.
    4. Hydrate!
    5. Meditate, daily even if you only have a few minutes.
    6. Do recovery work to understand porn addiction and why the urge to gap is strong--reading, articles, books--do some of this weekly.
    7. Journal. On here or privately. It helps.
    8. Practice being present and focused--at work, gym, with friends etc.
    9. Eat good food.
    10. Go outside and get sun regularly

Thanks for the advice! Get to two to three weeks without PMO isnt as big of a challenge these days but I know i can do better. Do you have any good resources for meditation?
