been hanging around on r/nofap for about a year now, but obviously I'm still having problems.
I guess it's not as bad as it could be, since I don't really watch porn. What did happen over the years is that the fantasies while masturbating have gotten more extreme- and I don't like happening.
I have several reasons for wanting to stop, the main one I guess is me being a christian. Secondly, seeing how I haven't had sex yet, I'm scared for my body not reacting the way it should when I do get to experience it. And thirdly, self-control. Right now I feel like I have none of that left. I find it so important to be able to control those- and other - feelings. I remember I used to talk with this guy I liked (I'm female) about if I'd be able to wait with having sex, and I always convinced him (and myself) that I'd be able to walk away without doing anything. But seeing how I can't even convince myself to not masturbate when I'm on my own, I'm not sure two turned on people being in the same room together would result in me walking away.

So yeah, I'm hoping this will help motivate me so I can finally get rid of that habit. Thanks for creating this place,
