Hello Fellow Fapstronauts...

Hello fellow fapstronauts, its been a long hard road... especially after trying to turn off or change direction, realizing porn addiction is REAL. I was introduced to porn at a very young age, for me it started off with magazines, and more magazines a movie now and then. I was then introduced to my stepmother's brother that is a few years older than me that had an endless supply of hard copy porn video's, dvd's and mags. Internet became available and everything just exploded, brakes came off and eventually wheels came off. I never thought that anything was wrong with porn, after I started rebuilding my relationship with God I realised that porn & lust is a BIG No No it's then when the struggle started, I also then realised that porn has made me a stranger, with no confidence in talking with girls. Its been a lonely hard struggle, I am convinced that the 90day Hard Mode is something I can achieve and I WANT to achieve to be able to be the best I can be!

 

Thank you for your message @D.J. my best streak ever has been 30 days, in that time I've learned to keep busy is the best as well as to keep bouncing my thoughts away from porn. But yes somehow I still got taken down by temptation. At this point in time this is my first time actively joining the NoFap community, I was usually just comming here to be inspired by reading what other guys was going through and of course the success stories. I have joined the CovenantEyes Getting over Porn 40 day challenge, which is more of an Byblical Strategie, I have downloaded some apps from Google Play store that might help me in my time of need, I am currently doing allot of research on how bad porn really is for me so I can keep reminding myself why I am on this journey, I was hoping to meet an Accountability Partner on NoFap community to stand by me and vice versa. Please let me know if you have anything to add that might help
