Hello everyone, I am in my mid 20s, and am currently attending college for Computer science degree I have battled PMO for about 5 years now. I have been engaged in PMO since I was around 12 years old and about 5 years ago i decided that it was time to really stop. A lot of it was motivated by a new found faith, but also the realization that it had started to consume me and has prevented me from having some experiences. It was also around that time when I noticed that I may not have been as motivated as I should be, and found information that suggested that Porn addiction may play a role in that. Why I want to be PMO free is not just for personal moral reasons but also so that I can be in control of my life. I do not like feeling like a slave to desires. I also feel that it will help my confidence to increase. A friend of mine suggested that I try joining a community of similarly minded people so here I am. My goal is break the cycle that I have gone through over these many years, and perhaps help others as well. Today is day one of my reboot.
