I'm starting this thread to get some suggestions on what to do the first 3 days of recovery, as of right now I've been trying for two weeks now, but I'm always finding myself relapsing on the third day, idk what to do, i know it gets better but it's just so fucking hard tbh

    Hi @Arkaman22,
    it feels sucks i know..:(
however, i can tell you that i have been in your shows so many times what really helped me is to make change ..
if we are doing the same mistake over and over that means we need to change something now..
for me the change was to leave my room and stick to my desk and do my work ....fixing a regular daily routine of positive activities makes you feel more productive and shift your mind from possible urges...
it is time to move bro ....life has A LOT more than guilt and shame and you deserve A LOT more better ..keep it up and keep posting here
    Best wishes

Yeah, I'm trying to keep myself away from my room, I'm also trying to stick to a routine, but it's not as easy as Thought
    Thanks for the comment

  4. It's good that you recognise the third day as a problem. When I gave up smoking, it was the threes that were the milestones. Three hours, three days, three weeks, three months, three years. If you can pass those milestones you've made an investment that you can build on.

The Book invites you to focus on the positives only. It says that the moment you stop PMO you are a non-PMOer. Any urges to PMO after you've committed to your new life are reminders that you are not a PMOer.

Remember that the urge will pass whether you PMO or not. The only choice then is whether you want to feel good after it passes, or to feel bad after it passes.

The idea that PMO is the answer is just your brain playing a trick on itself.

  5. That is great. I hope I can remember that and use it.
