Just a quick question I have completely stopped watching porn and masterbaiting for 2 weeks.

My concern is I have a girlfriend and try to minimise sex to twice/ three times a week. Is this gonna affect my results? As my understanding leads me to believe that porn and self pleasure is the root of the problem and having sex with somebody is natural unlike porn

  2. Some people avoid porn and masturbating but still have sex. This is your journey and you can chose.
If something is not working you can change it.

Depends on what kind of "results" you're looking for.

Before NoFap grew in popularity, the users did it for the sole purpose to reverse their sexual dysfunctions (PIED, Delayed ejaculation, etc.). In that case, sex was and is widely considered benefitial because you rewire your brain towards the real deal and away from a screen. However, nowadays that classical sense got twisted a lot by people: In the past people stopped using porn in order to be able to have sex. Now people stop using porn and also stop having sex for only god knows what reason.

So, if you're looking for a functioning dick to have sex with your girl, then go ahead. If you're looking for something else, I can't help you.

Religion, sperm retention / health beliefs, MGTOW/misogyny .. there can be many reasons for voluntary celibacy. Not everyone nofaps for the same reason.

If your goal is to teach your body how to react properly to real natural women and wholesome intimacy then sex is ok.

Ive been told though by my psychologist to not force anything. Eg if im making love and I lose my erection, dont keep trying. Just relax and have a cuddle or something. Let the body regain its sensitivity and let it do what it needs to heal.

I am of the view that if you have intimacy with your partner then it is fine, but If you start acting out porn while having sex and start thinking about images of other girls in your head while having sex then it starts becoming a problem.

    I would agree with that
And also that if the body relaxes and the erection goes down during sex then it should prob just be left alone the best thing is to just let it be and go to sleep or something.
I think i did a lot of damage over the years, furiously going at it with a half limp penis where I should have just stopped and told the woman i wasnt going to O that night.
