It's much more likely that some of the conditions that encourage prostate cancer also encourage or discourage a man to ejaculate. For example, there are studies that suggest a link between higher levels of male hormones and an increased risk of prostate cancer. Male hormones also contribute to arousal, so a young person with an increased rate of prostate cancer would also likely be ejaculating more frequently due to being more aroused - which explains the results of the study. You don't have to convince your friend though. It's up to you to police your body, not anyone else's. It's also important to realise that not everyone's relationship with porn is quite as negative as the average person here on NoFap. For many people, porn is best avoided entirely - but there are some outside of this community that indulge infrequently and do not have any problems. It's not for you to judge whether or not NoFap is right for them - just as it's not for them to judge whether or not it's right for you.
