I'm 16 and I've been watching Pornography ever since I was 12. I've primary been watching Straight Pornography throughout this time; however, I soon started to feel bored about it, It didn't create the same feeling of euphoria and excitement as it once did. So I started to experiment with gay porn every once in a while and I immediately felt mesmerised by it. It aroused me so much more then Straight porn but I always felt deep inside me that I was truly not Gay or Bi. Fast Forward to when I was 15 and I was only looking at Gay pornography. I had no interest in straight pornography whatsoever. I was still sexually attracted by girls but I had a greater feeling towards men. The paradox in this was that I could simply not see myself living with a man or even a relationship with them. It was purely a sexual fantasy of mine. I still saw myself as a straight male. Now that I'm 16, the simple thought of sleeping with a man gets me aroused 100x more then the thought of doing it was a girl. I feel like I'm confused with my sexuality not knowing what i am. Is porn the reason for this? Or has it simply exposed my sexual interest in Men?
Not a day goes by when someone doesn't come to this site and ask that. In short porn has nothing to do with your innate sexual identity, it's an artificial way of stimulating you. Escalation is quite common because once the 'thrill' of some taboo breaking sexual act wears off you need a bigger hit, like a heroin addict. There are posters on this site who are shocked by the porn they are 'getting off ' some have sadly escalated to beastility, granny fetish, and .. well let's just say it gets worse. Even humans have managed to increase or suppress penile erection or vaginal pulse in the lab when offered monetary reinforcement and/or instructional feedback. Indeed, most of us have a good bit of indirect say over our sexual tastes (as contrasted with our sexual orientation). Brains are plastic. The truth is we are always training our brains—with or without our conscious participation. We can choose to avoid, pursue, and cease pursuit of, stimuli that condition our sexual tastes in particular directions.
