Hi there, I am a 15 year old person who used to think i was a potato probably due to my immense feeling of uselessness and sense of not being able to do anything i wanted. Its been a year( i know it is relatively less) since i started fap. I've been trying to quit for almost 10 months. For a long time i was not serious about quitting. Its been like a minor pain in the ass that i would try to forget. About 3 months ago i started noticing the dark side of my habit. I started wandering into the underworld of internet (surprisingly enough i used only porn subs in the beginning) and got lured in. I took up a strong resolve to stop fap and by my 3rd (serious) attempt made it to 10 days. After that i could never get past 2 or 3 days. When i moved into my new place i guess i was really excited and all and went onto a record stint of 17 days. Soon the obvious happened and i resumed my habit. I gave up after that. I have decided to try again from now on. Its time to evolve again from a potato to a human being. The new me: I am what i was an year ago. I will not let my failures pull me down. My past life was a nightmare. I know that if i relapse even once from now i will get trapped. i know fap is the most wily of all addictions. It will creep upto me when i least expect it to and will change my mind, it will convince me that fapping it not so bad after all. But i will place absolute faith in what i am now at this moment and will not budge. I know people have done it and it is nothing close to impossible. My goal: To lead a porn free life, to wake up every morning and feel thankful for the amazing and wonderful life i have I hope to learn a lot from all you veteran nofappers.
Stick with it. Set your goals, put them in your signature, and begin! That way people can encourage you on your way.
@8BitsOfStuggling Thanks. I created the counter and by the way is it possible to maintain separate multiple counters (for watching P, edging andPMO)?
It is possible... I see people with 2-3 counters frequently. Although, I have yet to figure out how...
I think if you click someone else's counter, as opposed to your own, it'll give you a second one as well. Welcome to the club, bud.
