I’ve been wondering a lot lately about giving something back. I feel that, because of my addiction, I need to repay a debt to the people I’ve harmed. Maybe out of guilt, maybe as a part of the recovery process - I don’t quite know what it is... All I know is that I want/need to be a better person. Is there anything that you have done to give something back?
Maybe be more nice to the people you feel like you've harmed or say your sorry for doing what you've done before and show physically over the course of your journey that your willing to change. In my family, we don't really say sorry unless it's a super major problem but we show that we are by correcting our mistakes. Hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck on your journey!
In 12 Step they talk about a living amends as a new lifestyle. The nature of interactive chat and cam affects anonymous people other than yourself and it is impossible to track down those individuals, but participating in this forum and the NoFap is a kind of living amends.
