Getting porn dreams

    I'm very happy I completed my first week clean and did a lot of productivity also got the confidence back I pulled an all-nighter study yesterday cuz my exams are going on. Today after coming back from school I slept and had a dream of having sex with my female cousin is this an effect from watching porn or something it was not a wet dream I like that experience I also had a dream of having sex with our maid. I also think that it is okay cuz it is better than having gay dreams which i was having in my previous streak.
    Can it lead to relapse it is not going out of my mind. I don't know how I'm remembering these dreams:emoji_grin:

    I'm not an expert but I can relate to you.

    While in periods of no porn I've also had intensely emotional and sexualized dreams.

    I believe it's something going on in the subconscious related to diminished exposure to pornographic imagery.

    I might go out on a limb and say that you dream about sex because of your repressed sexual desires. But the content of the dream doesn't say anything about your desire itself. Because you dreamt about your cousin doesn't mean you want to be with your cousin. But the dream is telling you that you want to have sex or at least view sex.

    That's what I think anyways. Let me know if I'm wrong. I hope it helps.

    You are right brother Thank you so much for the reply. I like your pov. I'm trying to meditate daily I think this can reduce this thought. And it's better for my brain. It's like a trap my brain is forcing me to go and watch porn.

    Btw It's my day 9 today... (getting the glow on my face that i haven't noticed before.) not going to relapse this time feeling super happy and energetic:emoji_hugging:.

    Congratulations on completing your first week!

    In my opinion, only weak willpower can cause relapse but it's normal to have much more sexual dreams, especially if you are actually addicted to P or M... It's called addiction for a reason.
