Getting hypnotized/mesmerized

I'm aware of the sexual/addictive nature of some forms of hypnosis, but has anyone here attempted a session with a professional hypnotist or hypnotherapist to change their behavior?

I'm doing well here in terms of racking up my day-count but I'm considering some kind of tactic, some kind of armor to safeguard me later on in my journey, when the cravings get harder and harder to beat away...

 

Might be worth a try. People do it for other addictions. You will also need self-control and changing your habits.
