I was a long time addict to porn. Discovered Nofap, began my reboot and it has been 38 days of no PMO for me...I experienced my first ever wet dream a week before...I dreamed something sexual and when I woke up, I just ejaculated. But previous night I had another wet dream..my second wet dream since I was born! This time there was no erotica dream.Just woke up abruptly, found my boxers sticky, changed it and went back to sleep.....I read here that the normal rate of wet dreams is once or twice per month...but 8 days past my first wet dream, I had another...I'm 20...should I be concerned about this issue?? Will this affect my rebooting...Please reply

It is perfectly normal, you can even have 2 wet dreams a night, it's ok.
For everyone it happens with different frequency.

Having a wet dream is fine, Same way having sex is fine. Porn is harmful because many people watch it for hours on end three times a day, The brain isnt designed for it , so you become desensitized to it.
A wet dream on the other hand will last minutes if that.

Okay so wet dreams don't affect my rebooting, right? and 93 days of no PMO, man, that's cool..!

I can't tell for sure, but I think wet dreams don't affect.
From my experience they even helped, they occurred to me when I made the most progress.

  7. Wet dreams don't ever affect you! Anything that's natural will only heal your body. Its good to release sperms naturally, either by sex or by wet dream! In fact when you have super strong urges for days, pray that you get a wet dream and your sperms are released! But beware of the chaser effect and also don't start fantasizing in order to get a wet dream. Just let things be natural. Good luck!

Its relieving to know that wet dreams don't affect rebooting....no fantasizing...I'll take heed of that...would you mind telling me what 'chaser effect' is??

Hey man, also remember that you have a 'sleep cycle' which is roughly 90 minutes. At different stages of the cycle you dream. I say this because you mentioned one wet dream related to an actual dream and the other wasn't... It's quite likely u were dreaming in both but only 'captured' the dream of one of them.
Like others have said it's perfectly normal!
I believe the 'chaser effect' is that once you orgasm you go after it again... It's the dopamine thing :) (please correct me if I'm wrong anyone!!) so be careful that you don't wake up, even still hard after a wet dream, and decide 'oh well, just nut another one out for good measure'...
    Good luck man!

  11. Chaser effect is the desire to M or PMO after you relapse! Because after a relapse or ejaculation dopamine is released in brain and the brain once again seeks it more and more! Frequently people who relapse after months would go on PMO'ing for days or entire week before gaining control again!

    You are worried.Oh my god!!!
You should be happy that your balls are automatically getting unfilled. You don't need ur hands for that and it would help reducing urges too.
Man! I tell you. I am half month done and still waiting for my wet dream like a girl waiting for her periods.
So, Just take a chill pill and enjoy NoFap !

    I had a wet dream and I don't feel that there's a problem, i.e. no need for a reset.

However, I want to watch closely how this develops. With wet dreams, it's a bit like with fantasy, my goal is not to merely abstain from PMO but rather to develop a healthy sexuality. IF wet dreams fit in there, that's fine. IF they are a symptom of ongoing troubles of mine, it's not.

Generally, being out of my control, I tend not to worry about wet dreams too much.

I want it to happen, because I see it as the next step to restoring my abused system. Damn, I just hope it happens before the 90 days reboot is up!

This is the yogic view of nocturnal emissions/wet dreams.

There is no harm in nocturnal emission. After nocturnal emission, a man retains enough to succeed. But he must not lose it voluntarily. What remains after nocturnal emission is very refined.

    I wouldn't worry. It's not voluntary.
