I find it somewhat difficult to get momentum going.
With most things in life. I say I'm going to do something... I do it for a bit but after a week or so I get hit with fatigue and depression and just feel like I can't maintain enough momentum.

There's only one goal I've truly been able to accomplish because I've attached so much pain to breaking it it's unbelievable.

Why can't I attached that much emotion to my other goals?

Just feeling like a very sad and broken man right now.

Sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time with it right now. All I can tell you is that what helps me and thats to let yourself be proud of whatever small victories you can. Go on a longer streak with no porn than you ever have before? Let yourself feel good about that even if it comes down to a matter of minutes. Even unrelated stuff helps too. Finish a task even ever so slightly faster at work than you have before? Celebrate that. It's a tough behavior to learn and get used to using at first but its worth the trying.

Yes I actually saw a video about that earlier.. it's a good habit to train. Yourself to look at the good side. I unfortunately snap very easily..little things set me off.
Thanks for responding. As I was driving I kept saying to myself "I'm tired of waking up I don't want to do this anymore" I checked my phone once I pulled over and it was very nice to see a response..
It's not easy being fucked in the head man.

I used to have a temper myself as well man and I still snap on occasion. At some point I got over most of that anger, couldn't really tell you how I did it honestly.

Learning to celebrate the little victories is a good habit to train for yourself but itsa a hard one too. Have to be patient and give yourself some time.

It's amazing how closely anger and addiction are connected, your angry so you turn to your addiction to get that temporary high, you feel guilty and then angry all over again.
I've had anger issues all my life, I would constantly go off the rails for no reason and fight anyone and anything around me. I've been working with a therapist to figure out my triggers and why I can't just walk away when I feel the anger coming on. And amazingly enough it can be "that easy", get angry? Walk away... but when we are in the throws of whatever has gotten you to rhat point that's all you can see.
For my I'm trying a new approach this week. I have a 25 mile highway commute from work to home every day, and I'm pretty sure every idiot is on the same highway at the same time as me every day. (At least it feel like that lol). Today when I get home, I and going to park and listen to 1 song by myself before I walk into the house. Separate the work and drive from my house.
Sometimes 1 small change can make a big difference.

Just remember that nothing has meaning except the meaning we give it.
If you are in a fearful state, you will perceive things as scary
My whole life is a fearful state. If a women starts talking to me I assume she wants money, her boyfriend is waiting in the car and will rob me if we walk out, she wants to drug me and take my kidney etc.
I perceive everything as threatening. Doesn't matter what it is.
If you find a way to put your self in a loving and excited state then you will perceive things in was that are constructive to you.

Why do they have to be idiots that are on the highway? Is it because you feel like you're an idiot (I always feel like one lol) when I'm trapped in traffic I'm never mad at traffic I'm mad that I did things in my life that lead me up to being stuck in traffic. We're very rarely angry at what is bothering us at that moment. It's usually it represents all the things that went wrong in our life or were angry because what ever happenend happened again

You are 100% right there, its the small changes that will make the biggest differences in the long run and taking a moment to chill and take a moment for yourself is a smart and id say healthy way to start. Even if you just sit in the car for a minute or two before you head might help you chill out a little bit.

It doesn work for everyone but I have found that working out, light yoga, and breathing exercises can help you to chill out over time as well. Somethingabout moving heavy weights around chills me out I guess lol.

Weight lifting is the best. Generally no one in a gym that is in great shape is mentally stable lmao. Have to take it out somewhere ‍♂️
