    Hi everybody, Dumbledore here.

I quitted porn for a year ago, and have only had 2 days of relapse, so i feel pretty succesful in that area. Problem is that I'm still masturbating every night, mostly because I can't sleep with out it. I'm usually not horny when i go to bed, but I start touching myself, so i will be able to masturbate and get enought calm and tired to sleep.

Anybody has any suggestions on how I fall alseep without masturbation? My best idea is listening to a "guided meditation/ walking through the forest" story. It's basicly a story where that tell you that you walk through a forest and they tell you what you see.

    Thanks for any advices!

Hi, old wizard! Many people use "cant fall asleep" as an excuse to masterbait. Well I agree, it calms you down and makes it easier to fall asleep, but there are many other ways to calm down, for example I use chamomile tea. Also, your brain now links sleep with masturbation and it will take a little time to fall asleep without jigly wigling, I suggest you force yourself to sleep without playing with your Mickey Mouse (even if its going to be hard at the beginning) and set the alarm to wake up earlier.

  4. Physical activity. Walk, run and workout. After a full day and a good workout, youll knock right out.

If you're willing to follow through beyond just doing one thing immediately before bed a number of things are involved.

Get sunlight in your eye as early as possible
    Get some exercise
Stop eating earlier in the evening
Stop blue light exposure, including but not limited to screens (LCD and LED light bulbs for example) a couple of hours before bed - get blue light blocking goggles if you can't avoid it completely
Taking a supplement like l-tryptophan may help, I don't think melatonin is the best idea unless it's short term - the whole point of block blue light is because it suppresses your bodys production of melatonin

Hopefully someone actually follows this advice, it's not rocket science but it's not one little thing and it may not work overnight - but nature doesn't care that people want a simple quick fix, doing ALL of it will make it really hard to fail. It's really annoying to keep saying this stuff when people don't follow through, I almost didn't do it.
