With so many people in this world, I treat strangers like npc’s. Everyday I see hundreds of people that I will never see again. Were all those strangers randomly generated just for me? If I never stepped outside today, I would have never seen those people ever. They would’ve never “appeared” in my life. But I was forced to go outside so I can commute to work and encountered hundreds of people on my commute. None of these people know me nor do I know them. That is normal because they are complete strangers. However were these “strangers” just npc’s that suddenly generated the moment I stepped outside and transition to another location? Am I just another NPC to someone else?
It would be impossible to contain the information needed to comprehend a full character of each person you would ever come across. You have to be an NPC to someone. There's not enough mental energy. You can't know every single person you see. It's more likely to imagine someone from a small town asking this question. To them, they might live in the Town of Beginnings of an RPG, or on a movie set, and every visitor is just an NPC. When you are in an airplane in the sky, are the cars you see on the roads all generated just for you? If you leave the path of your normal travel and suddenly fly across the world, was everyone there generated for you? Can you use a rocket to fly faster than the speed of NPC generation?
We might be living in a simulation. We are at a point in technology where we can create AI to simulate things as good as a humans and even better. And with technology always improving, we are inevitably going to reach a point where simulation technology becomes so advanced that we can’t tell the difference between virtual and reality. But what if that already happened?? We might be living in a simulation right now, that was created by a superior intelligent entity. Knowledge and technology that we aren’t capable of comprehending. We could be living in a simulation right now and we wouldn’t even know it…
According to me nowadays everyone is dwelling into npc world indifferent aspects such as watching a movie or web series and having communication with a girl on Instagram who they will never get a chance to f*** her and celebrity who they even don't know our name we are just living in npc world and nobody wants to rule and have some relationship in Real world that's very harmful because reality is so hard it will break the bones and heart. “Simulation” there is no simulation, this is just a cyclical material realm where civilization (organisms) rise and fall, it’s always has been like this because this is a world where stability does not exit, “where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal”, many civilizations have been destroyed like Atlantis. This whole “simulation” thing shit is just an Elon Muskian bullshit hoax (the guy that denounce nwo and then is in first line in developing AI lol), Matrix movie was just explaining the world in a materialistic way for the profanes, but the conception of the word is spiritualistic, not materialistic. There is no “NPC” but people without a nous (intuition/Spirit) and they are prey of the masses and part of it. Often called “organic portals” but since you continue to perpetuate the “material conception of the world” I don’t see why you are better than them. AI is just an algorithm without intuition, it can just took the knowledge from the wikipedia and internet, without this “fruit” it couldn’t work, if you want a paragon internet is the Ai eden fruit, but the difference is that Internet can be deactivate and its server rust because is part of the material world while our human knowledge is part of the ineffable Spirit of God so it cannot be deactivated by pushing a button. So essentially you are in a simulation that was created by this “superior intelligent entity”, and maybe this one live in another matrix leaded by another super mega intelligent entity and this in perpetuity? The world can be explained only with the spiritual eye, not with the physical brain. If you don’t understand this you probably need to hit serious books instead of Matrix and Elon Musk quotes or maybe you are a npc, prepare to cancel this message from your meomry in 3-2-1 because it’s a bug and your system npc will never accept this….

Simulation theory is just a modern version of nihilism. If nothing is real then nothing matters and if nothing matters then something something something societal subversion is fine.
Yes, that would be the ultimate reason behind the theory. If nothing matters, then nothing they do is morally wrong, which, of course, they forget the second someone does something morally wrong to them, like steal, or when they do something morally right and demand to be acknowledged for it.
A goofy TV show made by a former Newgrounds animator, currently known for making funny noises on YouTube, demolished the entire concept of it in one of their episodes. They caught a lot of flack for it but that made it even funnier.
I can also make the argument that the simulation theory can lead up to narcissism. It could lead to someone believing that nobody else is real: only themselves. And that line of thinking is very dangerous.
I don't think OP means any harm when he makes threads like this but you're right. Any kind of belief system that turns human being into others is treading a fine line. You see it a lot on Twitter, with the idea that anyone who disagrees with you over a political issue should be silenced and treated like a subhuman. Obviously loud disagreement is fine, but many people, control freaks really, can't stand the idea of people even being ALLOWED to disagree in the first place.
