    1. every step is a step closer to the worst it can get
    2. if you are considering wether to escalate.
    3. your choice is to be stuck considering this stage forever
    4. or move foward to the next worse thing
    its a gamble considering you never know what the next stage is going to be. consider the worst and logicaly you'll win

    but thats only half the battle because your giving up short term pleasure, even if you know where leads a part of you still wants it
