My urges are really strong right now and so it's causing to feel discomfort but this discomfort is a good thing. In the past I would always freak out when I got a urge and I would always over exaggerate. I use to make it seem like it's the worst thing in the world and that my urge won't never go away and that the only option is to give in, but by giving in your only feeding your urge more and more and so it comes stronger and stronger and so it would become hard for you to go a few days without PMO. But by not giving into your urges your stop the cycling and your reconditioning your pathways. So embrace your urges don't run from them!!!

Yes, isn't that overexaggeration a real monster? We even think we might die - I sometimes say - Okay, well I'll just have to die then.

Thanks for selecting this particular clip and posting it - identifying the important distinction of pain vs. suffering. A good nugget to hold onto. P is not really my problem in recovery, but the pain and suffering in quitting MO. In my recovery here - that's been the sole struggle - but fortunately the struggle is not everyday - and I have been at rest these past few days. However, I do expect the pain and struggle and temptation to resurface eventually - and thanks for the perspective that it need not be a suffering if my attitude is right. Best wishes on your journey.
