Does past matter?

When I started tracking down my thoughts pattern,I found out that bad thoughts have been there in mind since I was what... only 10 or 11 years old.
I always go back and then find out that actually at that point and even today what actually pushes me to porn is power dynamics.Feelings that male are powerful.
And no wonder that society has enough triggers for such thoughts.
This also shaped what kind of porn I got into,I don't want to use the word for the genre but it's about power dynamics...male being powerful...you get my point.
I want to clean my thoughts but then I feel like when even as I kid my thoughts were bad and against women,how can I change such an ingrained habit and liking.
So temptation becomes automatic where there is no space to take a step back and I get turned on and I am fapping looking at hard stuff (you know).
