Edging is where you masturbate right up to the point of orgasm then stop. You can do this repeatedly.

It's REALLY BAD for porn addiction/PIED/etc. as it continually floods the brain with dopamine over and over.

It would make a lot of sense, that rewiring to a real women will even help your healing, not damage it.

I wouldn´t use the hand during sex (the hand is too rough and will make your dick feel numb -> ED because you feel nothing) - just vaginal sex and gentle oral, kissing, cuddling etc.

 

What about sex using ED pills?

 

I tried it about 20 times, but still failed, sex was bad. If you are mentally numbed from porn and physically numbed from masturbation, you will probably feel nothing, like me.
Only after I found nofap and having some streaks sober from PMO, fulfilling sex was possible.

 

If it works for me will this be ok while eliminating P and M? I want to have sex with my GF and hope that this won't impede potential progress

 

I guess it will be OK. But it´s still medication, maybe you can reduce the dose gradually.

I believe it doesn´t have so much to do with orgasm setting you back.
It's mainly the sensibility. Death grip from masturbation numbs you a lot plus the effect by porn on the brain numbs you.
In my case, since the sensibility is back, the stimulation by the vagina is just right.

If it was the orgasm setting me back: In one week recently I had 5 times sex with different girls and had orgasms during sex. But it doesn´t feel that it set me back. For me really just the unnatural porn and hard masturbation was harmful.

Difficult to say, I could already get a bit hard from the start, so that it was good enough to penetrate, but then the stimulation from vagina was way too soft, I didn´t feel anything and got quickly soft.
It only gradually improved, lets say after about 1 month I felt a difference.
For those who can´t get hard at all from the start, it may take much longer or may never happen, I guess it´s individual.

I mean that it´s individual. For some it may work very quick, others need more time to heal, maybe 4 month, others even more (if I remember right one guy needed 3 years).

But even if it doesn´t cure ED quick, there are still other benefits. For example the porn induced mental numbness - I noticed I can get it up very quick now just by looking at the naked girl.

And the penis probably gets much more sensible if you stop masturbating. If you are more sensible, you paradoxically may hold longer, because you are stimulated enough so that you don´t get soft again.

 

If it took him 3 years I bet he had other issues in play. But yes, from what I've read if the issue truly is PIED than rebooting and rewiring should always (eventually) bring things back to normal. I guess I'll just use the ED meds about once a week and just stay away from porn and masturbation

 

Maybe a hard case who fapped to porn already in childhood and later like 5 times a day. Or maybe he was not honest with himself and relapsed a lot but still counted it as a streak. The worst case would be, that the penis is physically damaged and will never heal, even if you don´t relapse, but let´s not hope for that.

 

Thankfully I think a trip to a urologist would solve that- they would be able to tell through various testing right?

 

Does your partner know you are using ED drugs? I dont think it is a good idea at all, especially if you are hiding it from her. When will you stop using the ED drugs? How will you know if your reboot is working if you are using the drugs? Is it the drugs or the reboot? Tell your girlfriend about your issues and stop using the drugs.
