Most Yoga classes in the West seem to be made up of mostly of women. Interestingly enough in India it seems that yoga is most popular amongst men, and all the pioneers of yoga that I am aware of are men. I would suggest finding another studio - or practicing diligently on your own. The first of the 8 limbs of yoga are the Yamas. http://www.yogajournal.com/practice/the-eight-limbs , which includes Brahmacharya, which translates to seeking Brahman or the all pervasive spirit of the universe. This is done through continence, basically no PMO. If you feel secure in your Brahmacharya you might feel comfortable taking a class with women. That being said unless you have been Brahmacharya for more than a decade I don't recommend it. Guidance for Brahmacharya includes never being alone in a room with a woman, let alone several women. http://www.dlshq.org/download/brahmacharya.pdf The guidance I've read on how to view women as Brahmacharya is to see them as the Divine Mother. This is very effective. If you see a young woman you might be attracted to, you imagine her nurturing many children, and you develop purer feelings towards her including the desire to protect her wellbeing.
