ladies are blessed with This radar. They feel everything.

  2. Just want to pipe in that women are by no means less sexually driven. I think in modern society we have early imprinting of self-supression and it compounds into adulthood. The re-routing of sexual energy is second nature by then. I would even theorize that this general mechanism is also partly responsible for the slight of crazy commonly attributed to females.

...except for the 200,000 years of really archaic cultures who don't wear clothes at all (climate permitting) because they don't suffer from pathological dualistic sexualisation of the body and don't have a parasitic hierarchy of landlords, kings and priests. Unfortunately, the respectably clothed imperialists (yes, that's us) have almost finished exterminating them.

Watch “sexual kung fu” on YouTube. He shows you how to raise sexual energy up the spine via qigong.

David Deida covers this in his book “The way of the superior man”

    Kundalini yoga also does this.

Fair enough, but be very careful. These practices might seem simple but they have powerful effects. There are many subtle errors people can make, without being aware of it. I used to practice Mantak Chia's exercises from his books (and I have met him once in real life) but now I would never consider anything like that without the direct guidance of a legitimate Master. Another example: I spent a couple of months at a Taoist kung fu school in China. There was a group of foreigners who had been there doing full-time instructor training for six or seven years. The Master only taught one of them the Inner Alchemy practices. He also told us that in the old days, if someone had even heard about Inner Alchemy visualisation practices without permission, they would never be authorised to practice them. This is not just a case of Masters protecting their secrets. There are real reasons.

From a Buddhist perspective (which I am not at all saying is the only correct one, just the one I can write about from my own experience), without renunciation and Bodhi-mind (compassion) there is a great danger of inflating the ego, of pursuing vague images of spiritual experiences in the future. I would even tentatively state that without renunciation it's better to remain a non-practitioner. As my Master says, if you can't deal with this world, how will you deal with the world of energy? Do you think someone like us, living in the everyday world and exposed to constant attractions and repulsions, can achieve what few monks are able to?
