The most glaring problem with this statement is the finger pointing. She didn’t cause your addiction. The porn producer didn’t cause your addiction. Your mom who didn’t hold you enough when you were 3 months old didn’t cause your addiction. I would say it was you, that you made the choices, but even that isn’t helpful for you today. The important thing is, you are addicted now and there’s only one person who can change that. It’s you. So take responsibility. Instead of wasting time pointing fingers at all the people who did you wrong, invest your resources in what you can do to rectify that wrong, today.

The second flaw is, recognizing someone else is hurt by the same thing that’s hurting you is not “simping.” That’s being aware. Some men are motivated by self. They look at life as a zero sum game, and believe they have to win at the expense of others, lest others win at their expense. Some men don’t believe that. Some men believe they can do things that benefit everyone, or harm everyone. Observing that porn performers are exploited until their bodies are sickened and their hope is drained, then they are spat out into the gutter to fend for themselves or die of suicide or od, isn’t a simp. Just like observing that porn addiction siphons your motivation and self-respect until you struggle to look anyone in the eye doesn’t mean you’re a loser wallowing in your own pathetic puddle of pity. Being realistic about the nature of your situation, and how it impacts the people around you, makes you practical and intelligent. Choosing to do something positive about it, even at steep personal expense, makes you a man.

The only idiots around here are the ones casting blame on others instead of putting in the effort needed to better themselves.

I’m an admittedly somewhat cold person, so I’m reluctant to lend my sympathies to these people.
There are other industries that feed off people as fuel but those industries serve true benefits to society (military, dangerous trades, first responders that do their job).
This? Pacifying individuals to be drones is something that many of them seem to be proud of. But alas, they’re people, too…

    Google translate says it is

Yeah, that's what I got too. I was just hoping for a little elaboration.

The most troubling part to all of this is that they couldn't care less about removing the videos these women were in. Real eye opener. Goes to show this industry isn't about respect but about money, also, when you watch porn, although it may seem to you that you are watching something live, fact is, you are always watching something that took place in the past, meaning, given the industry couldn't care less about the lives of these precious souls, you may actually be fantasizing over women who are gone, which is absolutely shocking and should deter anyone from watching porn again, unless you're into necrophilia or something like that. It's just really unsettling.

Why? We're fine listening to music of deceased artists, or watching films with actors who have passed away. This has nothing to do with necrophilia, as in the scenes you are watching they weren't dead.

I'm in agreement with @Dizzy Lotus on this one. I don't support porn by ANY means, in any way, but I'm not into pedophilia at all, and I watched a lot of porn before I started recovery with ladies who have since died. I don't feel like that particular aspect is wrong, but I wholly 100% condemn pornography in ALL its forms, in all media.

Whatever floats your boat man, thought it is another really good reason to just stop watching porn, but maybe that's just me. I don't see how it compares to music or acting though, as intimacy is way more personal and far removed from anything cultural.

Any reason to not watch porn is a good reason, I suppose. [IMG]

I think the point here is that watching porn with a woman that has since died isn't anything to be alarmed about just because she died. I think most all of us agree that porn is bad and is not acceptable for any lust addict to have anything to do with, I just don't see any connection to necrophelia is all.

I also don’t think watching streams from performers who have since died crosses into necrophilia territory. On the other hand, I recognize this point that porn is different from other media. Saying it is the same buys into the pornographic paradigm, that sex is just a thing we do, like eating or running or sleeping. It’s not. Even under naturalistic terms, sex is about bonding, it’s about relationship between a pair-bonded couple. Porn frequently portrays, even glorifies a dysfunctional relationship, in which the participants are used, not loved; used by each other, by the producer, by the website, by the consumer. The fact that we fail to recognize the humanity in the performers, and continue to use them in perpetuity, does make me uncomfortable. And if you choose to abandon the naturalistic model, sex becomes holy, set apart, and porn becomes even more disturbing.

I don’t want to overstate the problem and turn into Chicken Little, but I see the gist.

There you have it, we can all agree that sex is very intimate and that watching 2 people being intimate isn't the same as watching a movie or listening to a song, it is far too private and people have no business watching others making love. Necrophilia or not, still think it's really disrespectful to not delete the videos these women were in. Who do you think the profits go to? Is the public notified that they are watching content of someone who has passed? What morals are taken into consideration?
Sex has a lot to do with energies, which is the reason so many of us feel horrible after having seen others making love, your energy is wasted and going nowhere, and you're not getting anything back. It is a well known fact many of these women are simply in it for the money, they don't care about the audience and many even curse the audience, leaving you vulnerable and exposed. But you don't have to be spiritual to get the idea that porn can be draining and have a very negative influence. The science is out there, there's enough reasons to abstain.

If two or more consenting adults choose to have sex and allow people to watch, then seeing it is on anyone who chooses to watch, lust addict or not. The problem with deleting those videos is that once they're out there on the internet, they're out there for good. People download them, legally or not, and share them with other people. So even if there was an enforced law that required them to be taken down, no one could find every single copy of those videos and delete them and make sure none are ever put back online, shared, or viewed again. If that was the case, there would be no dark web. There probably aren't many profits being made unless there's some website selling those videos. As far as notifying the public, the questions would be who would make that announcement, how would it be conveyed, and how would the sender make sure its only seen by adults?

I understand that there may be some cruel people in porn (especially the producers of it!) but personally, I don't feel like that would be any more cruel than it is for an addict to watch those women have sex and objectifying & lusting after them.

Porn stars are no different than the average person who deals with addiction, poverty, and abuse. The difference is we don't read about it those people everyday these porn stars are not victims, their lives ended by the choices they made (not even the choice of being a porn star) Kagney Lynn was no stupid wallflower nor was the currently comatose Emily Willis.
