Day 84 Fail

So I started NoFap 84 days ago, going completely hard mode with it. I was doing fine and actually have improved and matured a lot over the days I’ve been doing it. However, I recently got Instagram and found myself exploring pages, knowing I’d see something inappropriate. While I didn’t see straight up P, I did see some nudity. So I’m resetting my day counter. It sucks, and the immediate reaction is to feel guilty or sad. But I need to keep improving myself and my life and keep moving forward. I still haven’t done any M, and don’t want to. I plan on doing more productive things in my free time rather than be on my phone. If anyone could offer any advice or share any similar experiences I’d never grateful. I was so close to 90 days, and it hurts a bit to know I failed. But it can only get better in the future. Thanks for reading.

 

Yeah I’ve been working on that. I’m 19 and have only just recently realized how terrible my ways were. Moving forward with positivity is the only way to go.

 

I really have a hard time allowing myself any wiggle room and put a lot of pressure on myself. I have these sort of obsessions that can’t go away if I don’t do things in a specific way or order. I see it as a reset because I knew what I’d find you know? I’m glad I didn’t do any more damage. But I know I won’t be able to be happy if I don’t reset. I’ve got to do this to improve I think. Thanks for putting it into perspective though. It’s different for everyone and I know others have it way worse.
