So im on day 5 and since I woke up today I cant stop thinking about porn. I think about p stars I used to watch, old vidoes I liked, etc. I keep searching titles of videos and pictures of p stars on google images, but I know I wont find anything because I have a blocker installed. I feel like it bad to even look these things up because It keeps the same habits (of searching for porn) even if its blocked. The first couple days are always the hardest so with that in mind I will push through this struggle. Any thoughts?
Keep yourself occupied. Start a project that you can immerse yourself in (preferably not on the computer). Keeping active will keep those urges mostly at bay. Dont let those girls have so much power over you just because they are hot. Keep your thoughts on the real physical present moment and stay out of your head!
Life is much more than sex-related stuff. Yes, the pornstars are hot, that's true and I don't argue with that. But these are also true: - Cats are cute - Jokes are funny - Landscapes are beautiful - Sports are challenging See? Porn/sex/whatever is just another part of life, but when it's taking up so much of your time and energy, it's time to let it go, because you only have one life, and you have many cats to pet, many jokes to tell, many landscapes to admire, and many sports to play. I hope this made sense.
The first 10 days are going to be difficult, even I felt the same. The urges are also going to be frequent , but that is where you have to fight. Once you learn to fight this process , the rest is going to be easy. I'm currently on my 42nd day and I don't feel like it's a challenge for me anymore. This is simply because I learnt to fight . Nofap is always there to help you.
It's good that you have blockers on your computer. If you have any devices try to restrict everything that's on it. The first few days are always the hardest. I've tried and tried and relapsed several times. But as time goes on you start to know what your triggers are sometimes even saying a "P word" can trigger something. Even google, or your room anything can trigger it! Your brain will in a way abuse you more as days goes by because it wants its fix! I'm going on 43 days PMO and it's gotten better but it's still a struggle! like everyone says just keep busy; try to do a hobby you thought of doing years or months ago and get back on it. You'll see within the next few days you'll start to smile more. But if you ever have any problems we're always here to help Stay strong !
