So I started nofap in the beginning of the new year, 2016, I am currently 14 and today well...I don't know. I watched porn for about 30 mins but didn't touch myself. I've read it's really bad and I PROMISE not to do it again and will not even look at it...ever...so does it count as a relapse?
@RemindYourselfTheBenefits , regardless of a relapse, please dont beat your self up, believe me I am very good at doing that myself, and I am learning not to... Try to remind yourself, that sometime it takes practice, but there are benefits indeed big benefits by learning, training yourself to stay away from porn... I have been in the same position as you, and all I can advise is dust yourself off get a shower and start again, simple and there are people who will help you as much as they can! Burty
Dont put too much emphasis on relapse or counters. You know you did something you shouldnt have. Just reflect, realzie it was a moment of error in a time of heat and dont do it again. Im guessing you felt shitty afterwards so think about if you do it again the feeling youd have
You guys are right, I will keep going and learn from my mistake, the next time I look at it again I will reset..... Thanks and stay strong everyone.
Take it easy .. or at least easier. Every seed we plant needs time to grow so we can harvest it. So dont beat yourself up. Good that you are aware of this, know plant a seed - means start to work on it, start doing (not only trying) and you ll see once you get the wheel turning, you got the momentum and you ll be able to accomplish bigger things. But everything needs time... You can and WILL do IT!!!
Hang in there, and remember, fighting is way better than surrendering. You are still fighting, even if you've gotten wounded, you haven't laid down! Also, this isn't about passing a test, or meeting anyone's expectations but your own. Perhaps you are doing this as a matter of faith, as many of us are; I am not denying that part. But even then, it is YOU who is doing this. So as your online handle expresses it, remind YOURSELF of your own reasons. Let that be your motivation.
I'm glad this forum is so supportive. Man, the longest streak I ever accomplished was 26 days. I need to visit this forum more often before spring semester begins.
