Day 1 started

    Hi Fellow Fapstronauts,

    My name is Herman and today I start my NoFap challange. I have a SO for a couple of years now, and durng my reboot I will stil having sex (and orgasms) with her, so this is not going to be a hard-mode thing.

    I actually started quiting porn almost 3,5 weeks ago, but MO'd a couple a times though, without fantasising. I haven't watched porn though. The last couple of days i have these urges, especially when looking at women, and i tried to stop this with varies degrees of succes. Last night I had a lucid dream (hadn't had one in a long time). I could't resist fantasising, because it felt so real. Actually woke and couldn't stop the urge to finish.

    So today i decided to go all the way, and stop mastrubating as well. I am glad to have done without porn for as long as i have, but it feels like i'm replacing it with oher things as to feel the high.

    I've watched porn for over 15 years now. Time to change my life and be more intimate with my SO. I will be posting the progress!

    At this place i hope to find support, and learn from all of the experiences posted here.

    Good question, i think like to believe i have a few:

    A: accepting that stopping with porn isn't going to be a 90 days thing for me, but that it is going to be for life. For me its like smoking all or nothing. If I could have smoked 1-5 cigarettes a day, i wouldn't have a stopped, but i can't. I'm a pack a day kinda guy. So the same thing is going to apply for porn. The first step is accepting that i can never watch again.

    B: At one point I have to discuss this with my girlfriend, in order for her to know what i am doing.

    C: Not giving in to getting arroused and fantasising in my head.

    D: In order to achieve this learn to master the five-second-rule, understanding that urges can go away if you don;t give them energy/time/focus

    E: Visit this page every day in order to read the succes stories of people.

    F: Trying to learn that i am not a bad guy, but its the habit that is bad and i can change that.

    G: Picking up a hobby (i love to cook, and what to do more of that), pick up things i wanted to do for a long time, but never got around to it (reading the books i collected, but never read), and put more effort in my work. I've been slacking lately.

    H: Trying to motivate other people in this community to achieve their goals.

    I: Generally trying to be a good guy, be more open emotionally, and give more attention to my girlfriend.

    If I can achieve all this, then my mission will be succeeded.
