I am so happy to have found NoFap, truly.
It is ironic how much time I spent screening porn sites but I never invested enough time to find a community supporting my fight against this old habit...
I have been using porn to distract myself since I was 13. Now I am 25, and still not happy and only hindered by porn. I have many dreams but too little energy or discipline to follow them, to make them a reality...

This 4th day is tough. For me it starts ok, but then if I am left alone or start to get stressed for some deadlines... then the porn distraction becomes so attractive, especially being 1 click away.
Still, I know that watching those videos,I will still be unsatisfied, and craving for more. And needing something stronger next time. Jumping from categories to categories, maybe cravin real (and dangerous) encounters too! Reminding myself that porn and masturbation do not truly satisfy me and are only detrimental helps a bit to fight the relapse temptations...
Lets hope I can keep going on. I want to reach 30 days after having read some NoFap stories.
    :D :(;);)

Congratulations on starting your journey and for being honest about where you are. You identified some triggers that cause you to mess up and you also identify a key factor in porn addiction (the need to find more stimulating material because our brains need novelty).

I would challenge you to designate a time for your accountability practice (either continue posting on NoFap or write it down), a check-in time, so you get in the habit of "checking in" each day. For me, it's after I get up and post my exercise stats for the day. That has helped strengthen my accountability. Even if I relapse, I know that I have to report that I relapsed which gives incentive for me not to relapse!
