This may be obvious to you veteran fapstronauts but I’m new here… so humour me; I’ve realised it’s SO much easier to heal your brain from PMO without dating apps!

I've always known Instagram was a trigger but this is the first time I’ve deleted dating apps as well as clearing my WhatsApp contacts before abstaining. The difference is night and day!!!
I’d encourage anyone struggling with relapse to delete hinge or tinder.
I know it can be hard when you’re craving intimacy and you’re lonely but I can honestly say these last 22 days have been the most fulfilling I’ve had in ages and I’ve been by myself!!

I was previously latching on or fantasising about women before they even matched me back!! I now realise how warped my mind was; regardless of how attractive or funny she seemed I’d ONLY match/like really busty girls… I was constantly trying to talk the girls I dated out of reductions, deaf to their experiences. It’s all I was interested in smh.

BUT fellow Fapstronauts… This week for the first time in forever, I realised my tastes are including or reverting to what they were before porn. When women were hot because they were just women lol.

Ofc I’m not the finished article (and I’m appreciating more than just “hotness”) but it’s amazing how much has changed in three weeks… I don’t think this could have happened if I was still swiping on what I’d trained myself to want through porn. I needed the break.

Thanks for reading, if you’re a slow learner like Doctor.P you might want to try deleting the slippery slope that is tinder/hinge.

Fapstronauts, May your streak go to infinity… and beyond.

I was a shark of the dating apps, i checked them, scrolled them and used them more than 20 times a day. I had a lot of encounters and i felt even more lonely after them. It had became almost a job, a thing that i had to do. Now i'm off and i don't miss them at all. Supermarkets of bodies and hopes where you try to buy by the look or by a sharp joke. Nope. Not anymore, i rather to approach someone in real life and be amazed by other than the look.

I was exactly the same, it was like it’s own addiction, I was constantly on the app. Saying it is a full time job is spot on!

Being “successful” on the app made me feel worst after too. Real life is better, we’re on the right path!!

I honestly thought you meant a different kind of trap but I guess that's why I need to do this reboot!
