    Hello

I know my streak is not that high compared to others on the community, but I still wanted to share these tips that I discovered just recently to keep urges under control.

First of all, it is very important to understand that urges are caused by excess energy that our body seeks to release through porn and masturbation. Through the NoFap panic button I once stumbled upon a wise man on Reddit who said: "This feeling is actually the manifestation of masculine energy. (...) If I look at it as pure energy, like animalistic, aggressive energy, the kind you feel when you're about to lift something heavy at the gym and the perfect song comes on through your headphones, I can now enjoy this feeling. (...) If you turn your mind away from the urge and just focus on how energized you feel its amazing, it feels like you are motivated to take on the world." I find that letting oneself be taken by the feeling of horniness and using all of that power towards someting productive instead of masturbating is the key to success on NoFap. If you want to read the full Reddit post, here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFap/comments/68ywkx/learn_to_enjoy_the_horniness/

Learning to control the masculine energy is important, but letting it out is also crucial. Too much energy built up in our bodies will make urges so strong that we will eventually succumb to them and masturbate away. From my personal experience I can say that the best way of letting it out without masturbating is physical exercise. Hitting the gym is great for those who have access to a gym, but going out for a run is a great alternative, as it can be done anywhere by anyone and is completely free. The feeling of being drenched in sweat, red in the face and exhausted from running is something that one learns to enjoy with time.

Cold showers are also extremely helpful in controlling urges. In fact, as I started to write this post I was feeling very horny and desperately wanted to masturbate, but I took a cold shower and it all went away.

I finally feel like I'm starting to live life again.

  2. I'm proud of you for getting 33 days.

I have this weird theory, which is that when you run "hot" with urges and desires,
the changes are more profound that the reboot has on your brain and body.

But if you are flatlined out, no libido, lethargic, then the reboot won't do a major
    overhaul.

And I still say that between being flatlined or running hot, I still say it's good
to reboot either way. Something happens on the mental and spiritual plane
when you separate from the PMO.

I could run on for hours about all the benefits, but I like that you have strategies
to stay on the reboot and avoid the urges.

What's going to happen is that your life is going to get better and better.

A lot of things you couldn't solve before are going to be solved for you.

Just cling to it, it doesn't have to be graceful. Survive!

    You'll do it.

    Thanks!!

Luckily I haven't been on PMO for that long so my body still works lol. I did experience a major boost in energy from like day 2 or 3 of no masturbation, and can focus on my day-to-day tasks with ease. I can see quite a difference between me and my friends which do PMO. I will not give up.

Congrats to you too on passing the 30+ day mark

  4. I don't say this too often, but I have a good feeling about you.

I think you have the ability to do a long reboot, and garner a ton
    of benefits.

The sky's the limit, as they say. hmu if I can help!
