Hello all, Like many of us, I’m early in my road to recovery. I’ve been able to abstain from porn for about 3 weeks at a time, and am currently on my longest streak and feeling very good about it. My struggle right now is that I’m a comic book reader, and it’s one of the tools that I use to stay off of porn. Recently though, I opened up a few issues and saw some nudity. Nothing graphic, as most of the comics I read are fairly mainstream. However, since this incident, I’m really hesitant to read anything new or to pick up some of my old issues. I’m just wondering if others out there have strategies or advice for a comic reader who wants to continue the hobby, but isn’t sure if it’s worth the cost of a potential trigger?
That is ok, as long as you don't start the masturbation session after your comics. No need to be so scrupulous.
