Challenge accepted - Help with blue balls

Greetings, made a conscious decision to abstain from fapping as a result from a couple of recent fap binges I didn't find healthy. The issue for me is binging. Sometimes I can fap once and be fine but usually it leads to a binge which is concerning. Because of that I am looking for change. I stumbled across NoFap and now I'm here going through a reboot. So far so good, I am 25 days in and the urge to view porn hasn't been much of an issue. I have had sexual urges but for the most part have been able to curb those. The main challenge is blue balls and has always been. My habits were out of necessity to relieve this problem, which would then turn into a binge. I have been able to push through up to this point but the discomfort is gradually increasing as I go. I feel like this a result of a lot of getting aroused via fantasizing, another reason for the reboot. Any tips, suggestions or recommendations on how to alleviate blue balls. I've tried a lot of things but not much seems to work.

 

Thanks for the feedback. I agree. Most of them are random, not willfully generating them. I am becoming more mindful when they do happen and hitting the off switch.
