Casual use of the word "porn" in conversation

I hate when the word "porn" is used in a non-sexual context, usually meant to emphasize and indicate that whatever word precedes the "porn" is in abundance or is glorified. It's often used for comedic effect. Some examples I would like to provide are the subreddits "foodporn", "spaceporn", and "mapporn". Foodporn is all about food, spaceporn is all about space, and mapporn is all about maps. None of the subreddits have anything to do with porn. Again, they are using the word porn to be humorous.

It just really, really, REALLY fucking irks me seeing this use of the word porn so nonchalantly like it's no big deal. Just another example of society's general acceptance of pornography. It's so fucking weird to me. People find it funny and edgy. It's fucking cringe and vomit-inducing.
