Can't orgasm anymore

Discussion in 'Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunctions' started by Deleted Account, Feb 26, 2022.

  1. I had a bad relapse last night, but as soon as soon as I ejaculated I just couldn't orgasm. It didn't feel pleasuring to me anymore. I remember the first time when I first discovered it I had a massive orgasm now I can't orgasm at all I am just absolutely silent now and I think this messed me up. I am single (no wife or girlfriend) but I've heard women say they like it when their men orgasm. I remember in High School talking to guys that did have sex and they told me their girlfriends like hearing their orgasms. I feel like porn really messed me up. I just really need to quit and get it together.

Hey man, don't worry about that. This isn't permanent. Your sexual functioning will return once you abstain for long enough.

Also, why are you worrying about what women think of a mans orgasm? Your orgasms are for you, not for anyone else! :)

Don't worry about that, if you feel anything wrong you can talk to your doc.

    Hey man,
I don't know how old you are, but I would advise looking into it.

What you describe is something that has happened to me as well and that I have carried for over a decade now.

Overnight, when I was around 24, I just lost all pleasurable sensation.
At that time I used to consume loads of porn because my gf and I could not have sex (medical on her side).
One day I was watching the same type of porn as usual and when I ejaculated I just felt no orgasm. As if the sensation was muted.
All I felt was something almost identical to just peeing.

I've gone through many doctors since then and all of them have assured me the problem was psychological and not physical.

While the pleasurable sensation went away, I was still able to get aroused and, somehow, to ejaculate. But with the year it's become more difficult.
To the point that I even increased my porn consumption: I was just unable to masturbate and finish without it. And being isolated due to COVID didn't help.

However some time last year I went on a trip in a foreign country with no access to internet for 2 weeks and by the end of the trip, I was already recovering my ability to jerk off without porn, and after a month I was often getting glimpses of orgasmic sensations that I had not felt in years.

Don't let this situation last longer than it has to. Seek professional help if you can afford it, and do not underestimate how much porn might be responsible for this problem.
