Can't come anywhere near starting NoFap

  1. I am masturbating 10 times a day at a bare minimum. Not being ironic. It's not even about doing NoFap at this point - simply 1 day of NoFap would be good enough. I have no idea what to do. I go to the gym, go outside, live a good life etc. As soon as I get home I can't control myself. I don't even watch porn either.

    I am glad that you reach out for help. It is not easy to realize masturbation being a problem at your age.

    However, I must say your masturbation frequency is really a highly dangerous one, so it's time for you to start doing something about it.

    There are a few directions that you can work towards. First, try to think about a list of healthy activities that you can do while you are free at home. For me, I usually do some reading, light stretching and meditation. You may also consider spending extra time outdoors, hanging out with your friends, taking walks in the park, and so on.

    Second, don't buy into the notion that you must react to your urges and fap when they come. Next time when you catch yourself having urges at home, just stand up and stay away from your computer / other electronic devices, stare at the urges and let them come and go (just like catching a thief in your house on the spot, so he runs away in fear). You don't have to comment on any of the urges as "good" or "bad", just observe them silently in the third person, and try to realize that you have the power to choose not to entertain them, no matter how overwhelming they seem to be. With enough practice, you should get good at this, and eventually find more self-control.

    If you have tried everything mentioned above, probably you may be able to get at least 1 day free (or more). If not, try to go NoFap in terms of number of hours, try to survive for longer before you fap the next time. Break your own record. Also, try to reduce the number of times you fap in a day (instead of fapping 10 times, try doing <10 times within that day).

    NoFap is very important, especially for those in your age (e.g. for your study), so please start trying now before you regret years later. You don't have to be good at it at the beginning, and no one cares if you relapse. Just try your best and work your way to get 1 day free first (then find ways to stay clean for even longer, and eventually break free from it completely). I wish you good luck.
