I ve been watching porn for about 9 years and I have to say its had a terrible impact on my relationships and life , I started around 11 , and now that I am 20 it has had an awful impact on me , how I view women and how I am in relationships. My previous Gf broke up with me of this reason I believe even though she knew it was a problem but did not know the adverse effects of PMO , it made our sex life slow after awhile , due to me not maintaining a full erection and due to specific things that needed to be done to allow me to stay aroused during sex . Long story short , PMO caused me not take that relationship seriously and I treated her like she didn't have needs or wants the same way I do and the problem has been there for some time , always coming up over and over again .

I strongly believe that abstaining from PMO will help me to reestablish the appreciation I used to have for females and not see them like sex objects PMO has conditioned me to view them as .

Therefore I found this website and decided to join in order to make sure this happens , I have abstained in the past , but only to go back to enjoy the short lived pleasures of PMO while suffering the long term effects of it . I hope that as I go along that I can find someone that I can fully appreciate and not allow porn to have a place in that relationship and in my life . it has done nothing but destroy me slowly , ranging from sleeping for 18 hrs on end from having a vigorous PMO session to being lazy , to procrastination where I chose to indulge in PMO over things that I have in priority .

I thank the founders of this site and I believe we can all overcome this together ;)

Good luck! I've been there myself. I started at 9, I am now 23. 14 years of PMO specifically and I can tell you just a couple weeks in that it has had a profound impact on my life.

You can do this, man! PMO addiction is up there with heroine and cocaine addiction, but together we can set this monster on fire. I am sure of it.
