My boyfriend has recently decided to stop porn (he said he did it once a week for about a year). When we have sex, he has no problem getting it up, but he takes probably 20 - 30 to release. If he really has stopped porn, should I expect that he'll release quicker? He also often has to use his hands to "get it all out". Should I expect to see that diminish, too?

    Thanks!

  2. If my experience is anything to go by, yes that will improve greatly. Initial improvement should be pretty quick, but it'll take a few months, at least, to get back to normal.

Of course that's assuming porn was the cause. If it wasn't, giving up may not help. But porn induced DE is definitely a thing.

    Good luck to you two.

Thank you for your insight. Do you think DE is only caused from porn, or is it caused from masturbation in general (even without porn)? Do you think I should see what he thinks about refraining from masturbation all together, in order to improve his release time?

Masturbation can definitely cause it as well. Yes he should refrain from both for 90 days.
