I just wanted to recommend this book. It is based on the principles of James Prochaska in his book "Changing for Good". It takes the general principles outlined in "Changing for good" and applies it porn addiction. It also contains exercises that are supposed to help one along the way. jiltedjohn has been recommending the later one for quite some time and I have to agree with him, it is a sound system of behavioral change.

This is the part "get educated" of the trinity "get educated. get tools. learn to love withdrawals" from one my favorite posters of this forum. Props to you William. By the way, this should be the new mantra of this movement, don't you think?

Very flattered aron, and props to you and jilted. I have not read either book, but will. There is a method to quitting.

Get educated. Get tools. Learn to love withdrawals.

    Peace.

PS. Congrats on your streak. At close to 30 days out you are where a lot of us to reach the "tipping point" if you have not already. That is when you move from wanting to experience porn to wanting not to more. After that, it gets easier. As jilted says though, even then, we still have to be "ever vigilant."

    Good luck on your journey.

Just fantastic!! Honestly chaps that's a brilliant discovery and I would go as far as to call that essential reading for everyone on here because it really is a fantastic system based on studying actual people who stopped unwanted habits and by recognising there was a common theme that ensured lasting success for those who followed a particular 'sequence' of change and its just great somebody has applied Prochaskas findings to this particular subject. Just fantastic!! Brilliant!! :) ;) :D

P.S. Bearing in mind the above posts I would also go as far as describing this discovery as (possibly) the ultimate 'educational tool' to help people overcome this (or any) addiction/problem. Fantastic!!;)
