I know that it's pretty common to complain about getting "blue balls" when it's been a long time since our last orgasm. But really? I get horney. I get aroused with the slightest stimulation. But as far as I know, there is no real condition such as "blue balls."

Our bodies are made with three automatic-release valves when our sperm and semen production exceeds the need and the storage areas get filled up:
    1) Nocturnal emissions
    2) Semen being released without your being aware of it in your urine
    3) Reabsorbtion by the body

    "How did he die, Bones?"
"Blue balls, Jim. Blue balls. If only he'd fapped, he'd still be with us!"

Blue balls is also known as semen congestion. It goes away on it's own. It is just pressure when you're body is ready to ejaculate but was denied pushing it over that edge. It goes away though and is not a condition as much as a side effect of denying release during times of pleasure

It hasn't really been "medicalised" much, if that is what you mean. That does not mean that it has not been described in medical literature too. In a case report in american journal, Pediatrics, there was the following article calling for awareness of blue balls as a possible alternative explanation for scrotal pain, instead of the much more severe and fertility-threatening testicular torsion. See the pdf of the article here: http://www.hawaii.edu/hivandaids/Bl...oung_Adults__A_Case_Report_and_Discussion.pdf
