Blue balls or something else?

Hi, Im new here so sorry if Im posting in the wrong section.
In short i have not orgasmed for the past 2 weeks but there were times when i would edge. That being said everything was going fine until yesterday when late Afternoon I edged. Sometime during the night I woke up and noticed that I was hurting around my scrotum and my upper pelvic area.
Now if this is just blue balls Im fine with ignoring it but if its an infection I really need to know so I could do something about it. The reason I think it is not blue balls is because the pain doesnt really come from the testicles themselves but rather from the tubes or around the testicle.
Can anybody tell me if they experience something similiar?
