Blocking facebook and the like from iphone

Remove data from your cellphone plan, and get a data block. Then it’s just text and phone calls for you.
But seriously, put your phone down, then get out of the house whilst leaving it behind. You don’t need it. It needs you.

 

My solution to this was to delete all my social media account and temporarily switching back to an old dumb phone. I admit I had also other reasons to do that (ie. doing digital detox cause I found myself to be addicted to my smart phone), but this also helped to avoid temptations and gave me much needed time to reconsider my life decisions this far. It gave me time to figure out what works for me now, at this point of my life, and what's not.

I'm not saying this works for you (or anybody else for that matter), but if you're anything like the rest of us, you're probably spending way more time on your phone, browsing endlessly news feeds and pages, trying to find anything that's even mildly entertaining, just to be disappointed and feeling worse than when you started browsing.

I would use an app called offtime. It blocks apps
