Being replaced

    being a student in college, how do you get over the fact that you've been replaced among certain friend groups. now they dont wanna share their daily life with you, now you're not a part of thier daily life and still you have to see them everyday, with thier other friends. howw?

    Find new friends. You deserve friends who make you feel validated and good. If your "old" friends don't view you as a friend anymore, it's time to move on and make new ones. They don't deserve your time if they aren't willing to give you theirs anymore.

    College is one of the easiest places to make friends, maybe the easiest. It's never anywhere near as easy, at least in my experience. The flipside is that most people you're very close to in college will completely vanish from your life once you leave it. I'd try to accept that the whole experience is transient and make new friends, fully accepting that they will probably vanish from your life once you graduate.

    I haven’t had a real friend since 2019. Am I sad? No. Am I content being alone? No. Am I optimistic? Yes. Do I really want a friend though? No. Why not? Idk.

    Yeah, I was there, it's awkward as all get out. Screw them, they are a bunch of chumps. You'll look back and be glad it happened, but you can't see it now. You get used to it by sticking your nose in the books, and if you can't do that, get off of the campus when you can. The townie bar is ok, but we've been there a zillion times. A roadtrip is preferred. Somewhere where there is good music. Or a casino....

    yeah I've had other friends to hangout with but its not like I've completely stopped talking to old ones or I've had a fight with them. It just happened slowly and casually and now I'm thier friend and a stranger at the same time.

    It felt great when we were all friends with each other and their was no sub groups among them. I was always part of that. I used to be an important person among them. But slowly, the groups divided and I feel like I dont get along completely with any of them. Everyone has sort of made thier groups and I'm left alone.

    I'm still part of the whole group, but not in anyone's closest circle.

    yeah I know that and thats okay with me, But friends make this college life so much better to experience, and I see everyone enjoying with thier smaller groups. And I feel like where did It go wrong? What did I do that led to this?

    and yes I agree its easy to make friends in college but it isnt easy to change friends. When everyone's new, its easy to bond with people but now everyone has thier own group and it isnt just possible to join any group. It feels as if you donot belong in there and you're just forcing yourself which I'm not capable of doing.

    yes we dont NEED friends, and its better to have no friend than a fake one.

    yes I dont want to stick my nose in the book. Because this is one of the most memorable time of my life and It just hurts me that everyone else is enjoying it with thier friends and I'm not.

    and they forgot about me.

    Later on you will realize that this is helping you, and you're going to advance beyond them.
