Just as a clarification, this topic is not about semen retention or sexual transmutation, i consider intercourse to be a very healthy thing. This is just about (against) the act of masturbation.

    1. Everybody does it. No, not everybody does it. It was an act frowned upon by most cultures and religions, not just europeans/christians. All Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) are against it, Hinduism is against it, the chinese were against it (and they weren't even religious per se), even fking aztecs were against it. So many groups of people, completely independent of each other, decided it is not a healthy thing.

    2. But masturbation is normal. Masturbation was "normalized" very recently (1950-1960) through Alfred Kinsey's biased "work". If you don't know who Alfred Kinsey is, he is considered the "father of modern sexuality". Even if you heard about him, you probably didn't know he was also a degenerate and actually a strong activist for pedophilia and even experimented on children as young as 1 year old. Don't believe me? Google "kinsey table 34". He "concluded" masturbation is normal using very poor sampling methods.

    3. But animals do it. A common myth, most animals do not masturbate at all. The very few that do, do so even rarer to ejaculation. Even monkeys, which are closest to us, do it if they're a multi-male-multi-female species (promiscuous). The species that are not don't usually masturbate and masturbation to ejaculation is almost non-existent. Also, for the mm-mf monkeys, the males that masturbate more actually mate less and are lower in social hierarchy.

    4. But it's necessary to keep the pipes clean and it protects against cancer. No and no. You don't have to release semen, it gets recycled. The study about masturbation protecting males against prostate cancer is incorrect because it simply assumed all ejaculations are the same (sex/masturbation), when they are literally very different (400% more prolactin from sex than from masturbation for example). Also, the studies on catholic priests (so celibates) actually showed that they have lower cancer rates than normal population.

    5. But it's pleasurable. So is heroin. Just because something is pleasurable doesn't mean it's good for you. The pleasure is there to reward actual sex, as it usually takes effort.

    6. But it's relaxing me. That's not the point of sex, that's the rewards you get AFTER you have actual sex, because actual sex is not easy to get. Also, a lot of things are relaxing but not good for you. Procrastination is extremely relaxing in the short run for example.

    7. Sex is about interaction with a partner, your sexual organs developed for partnered interaction, not solo, "solo sex" makes no sense whatsoever. You would not have sex organs if it wasn't for that, you don't need them for anything else

    8. YOU ARE LITERALLY FUCKING YOUR OWN HAND. That's a very disturbing behavior. If you chewed some paper while watching mukbang vids or fantasizing about food, you'd end up committed to a mental hospital.

    9. If you think masturbation is totally fine, you should be 100% ok with sucking your dick to completion.

    10. It looks very weird and wrong, especially if you do it while watching porn. Watching others fck while jerking off is extremely degenerate and it's something that most masturbators would not do in the same room with the couple, the perspective they get is the same (that of a cuckold)

This is good. But the trick is to remember these when we get the urge to masturbate
