Aside from PMO, my other addictions are Vitamin Water Energy (my coffee) and sugary junk food.

I'm under nearly constant stress living with my parents, however in about a month, we will be moving out of this house. They will move out of state and I'm hellbent on staying local. I'll be living with my sister temporarily until I figure out how much I can afford on an apartment.

Once I'm finally away from them, I'll work on kicking these other addictions as well

Gotta try to quit refined sugars as well, too hard when home is filled with sweets. For me, even a bit of sweets can make me feel off afterwards, and also cause I have a belly which I hate, mostly cause of sugar. I eat moderately most of the time...

  3. I stopped drinking a couple years ago. I wasn't addicted but had developed a dependency (also called "alcohol use disorder"). The first few months were tricky, but the longer I stayed away from booze the less I wanted to go back to it. I have found it much harder to quit porn, which says something about its inherently addictive qualities.

I used to drink a lot in my early 20s, but I gave it up back in May. I never had a dependency, per se. Drinking would make me completely antisocial, plus I started to dislike the feeling of being drunk. Giving up drinking was FAR easier than it is giving up porn

Smoking. I quit and i start again and that is going on for some years now. I was thinking to order Nicorrete gum from canadian pharmacy and maybe try it next time i decide to quit smoking. I know this habit doesn't give me anything good, still keep doing it for some reason.

Yeah. Chief addiction that I'm fighting is being mediocre and just existing. I've just been in the state of bare minimum that the first 20 years or so is literally just a blur.

  7. I had an addiction to social media that was made worse when I started NoFap. When I realized the hopelessness of the situation, I decided to restrict myself to 1 hour of social media per day. It was a wise decision because now, I'm spending more time on healthier habits.

Actually, nofap helped me to quit drinking alcohol at all (I only drink alcohol-free beer) but I was not an alcoholic. I just came across a link to the YouTube channel about it and decided to stop drinking this poison.

Also, I realized that trading PMO for gaming is not a good idea. But I'm quitting gaming as well. I try to stay away from it on a daily basis with good results.

Yet, PMO is a beast for me. I've never encountered anything so addictive and tricky - my own brain can fool when I feel most confident that I'm getting control over it.

LoL I love the phrase! But I know it's nothing to laugh about. Stay strong, bro!

Social media, specifically Facebook and Reddit, destroyed my mental health. I was addicted to getting upvotes. But everyone posting about being newly married or becoming parents would damn near bring me to tears. I'm never going back to them

  10. Wise choice. I wish you the best of luck in overcoming your other addictions

  11. Video games, because it's a waste of time

  12. Eating disorder and I would say a general media addiction. It's difficult for me to regulate food and screen time.

Although I don't have an addiction to it, I'm trying to completely quit drinking alcohol as I have studied (and read countless stories on) the long-term benefits of doing so. Even a few alcoholic drinks in the weekend have affected my health quite negatively with anxiety, disturbed sleep, poorer digestion, slower recovery, sluggishness and fatigued the next night or two.
Probably because I'm very fit and run marathons (plus, low body fat percentage). With low body fat-percentage and good health overall, you do become more sensitive to even small doses of poison, where alcohol is one of them.
