I'm over 30 days without PMO and it's been great - i'm seriously so much happier and self aware and grateful for everything. But I'm experiencing a lot of sleep difficulties and fatigue, and I'm wondering if these could be withdrawal symptoms from my brain not getting the dopamine it's used to. Anyone else have that?

Has been driving me nuts have not looked @ porn but have teetered on the MB with the urge rising up often.
Have been able to fight it off and do other things but today it just came to a point where MO took place for peace of mind. I have been really affected by the fact that lately what I do for work with a bunch of young kids and my business not getting off the ground I expected the breavity and soundness from no P to translate to better work conditions more money and success. I guess I gave in today because I just needed the pleasure and to get my mind off of old relationships and going through old emails from when my wife was not really on board with our relationship.....mostly related to the fact that I was not successful and all that. Ahhhhhhh!

  3. Well, you are on day 35; and I had a 35-day-period of total abstinence in March this year.
During the first 10 days, I had severe symptoms like you describe (sleep difficulties).
Later on, I settled and these went away, but after 30 days, I felt some kind of "general dullness" - life was ok, but it felt dull and boring ... and some days later, I relapsed ... So be careful ...

(BTW I'm on day 15 and I feel like I can push the boundaries very far this time)

  4. This shows also to me that (P)MO is really just a way to "cope" with negative emotions.

Instead of facing the problems and solving them, we literally "fap them off".

I can remember how often I was full of anger or full of fear in face of some problem. Then I PMOed, and in an instant, all the fear was gone ... but the problems still were there.

After several tries of hard mode phases, I found that the real gain is coming to you when you begin to face your fears and problems and when you find SOLUTIONS for them.

  5. no PMO a flight to freedom, i have bad with drawl effect, can't focus, can't sleep, and cant think strait.

  6. In the beginning, it is really hard, I know. But keep confident! It will soon become much better. It takes a while until you become used to your new lifestyle, but you will see, it pays off.

A life without being addicted to PMO is simply GREAT.
