Stay strong guys. You're so lucky that you identified this early and not a decade later. Get through it!!! You don't want to deal with this for as long as some people have.

Same here man. Currently 16 and have been trying to fight this off since my preteen years. I've had my ups and downs, but still trying hard to fight!

  5. I'm 16 and I've been battling this addiction for almost 3 years. As a member of NoFap I've had my ups and downs. My longest PMO free streak is 7 weeks. That was at the beginning of 2014 from January through February. At the beginning of this year I managed to do 33 days without PMOing. Currently I'm on day 20 which isn't major progress, but it's the best I've done in a while. It's the longest streak that I've had so far this summer. I see that you relapsed today so I'm going to give you some advice. My advice for you is to keep yourself busy, busy, busy. Find a new hobby. Start going out and getting exercise. If you're Christian pray every day and read the Bible. Go out and try to meet new people. Eating healthy is also a good idea. I also believe you and everyone on this forum should be keeping a daily journal. Sometimes with my busy life I don't have time to update my journal. You should try to make a journal entry every night. Talk about what happened during your day, if you got any urges, what kind of steps you're taking to beat your addiction. Things like that. Hopefully this helps. I'm wishing you all the best!

Well said @msa2388 - that they've discovered it at such a tempting and influential time in their lives is great.

And @gainsrs, @ThatOneGuy56 , @DeckhandDan98 and @LifeTransformation2015 - That you're trying so hard to beat this addiction, at an age when the whole world is telling you to give in to it, and you have so much mid-teen stuff to deal with in your lives, says a bucketload about your character. I have a lot of respect for you.

    Keep going!

Good advice , and yes I'm keeping myself a lot more busy, trying to really always be out of the house. Good news is I found my triggers! Which are boredom which results in curiosity and whenever I feel defeated. Hopefully I can channel these triggers when they come!

    Bonjour!

I'm 17 and I've been here for almost a year. I've been a addict since I was 10 and had DE at 12. My longest streak was 26 days which I did at the end of last year. Puberty makes it a little harder so let's do our best!

    Au revoir,
    Ace

Bonjour ! Je parle francais aussi! haha

it doesn't matter how long a streak is, whats important is that you keep on going and doing the best you can do and mainly never give up!

Ah, yes, there are definitely many of us here! I'm very happy to have found this site "early", compared to many people here. Of course, I would've rather found it a year before, but I'm happy to be here now.
I think it's good that younger people try to really battle the addiction before it ruins big parts of their lives permanently.
